NockNock has launched in Chicago. We are still building a thriving community of Hosts before we open up our platform to Guests.
We allow our users the flexibility to decide what level of COVID vaccination they feel safe with. Some Hosts may require proof of vaccination or recovery, while others may not. View the Host’s listing to see their preferences.
Whether you are a guest or a host, we are committed to your safety and comfort. We are one of the only platforms that requires identity verification for all users to create a profile on our platform.
Unlike other platforms, we are offering the opportunity to rent out multiple spaces in your home by the hour. Every home has potential to have a successful listing on our platform, we just have to find what your space has to offer.
We are also one of the only platforms that offers users to book or list spaces based on their comfort level regarding COVID safety. Both guests and hosts may choose to display their vaccination status and hosts may choose to only allow bookings for guests who are vaccinated.
As a company we want to make sure that both Hosts and Guests have a great experience on NockNock. We understand that cancellations do happen and for that we have outlined the answers to common questions Host's have.If you have any further questions please let us know and we will gladly answer these for you.
• Q: Is there a time limit for canceling a booking?
We strongly discourage cancellations as it provides a negative experience for Guests. In an effort to build trust and community, accounts that cancel a booking will be placed under review for a possible account freeze. Please consider this before cancelling a booking
•Q: How do I get reimbursed after a Guest cancels?
We understand that any cancellation is an inconvenience. As such, if a Guest cancels their booking within 24 hours of the booking, the Host will receive full payment for the booking. If a Guest cancels outside the 24-hour booking period, the Host will receive a $25 guest credit from the NockNock team for the inconvenience.
•Q: How long will it take to get reimbursed?
Guest Credits will be paid to your account automatically upon a booking cancellation. Cash reimbursements will be paid per your banking institution's abilities, most of the time within 5-10 business days.
